Bahco’s Pruning Saw is an ideal tool with a curved blade and precision sharpened reversed toothing which cuts on both the push and pull stroke. The tubular steel handle is riveted to the blade and is designed to be used with a 25mm (1in) extension pole. The pruning saw blade tip is extended into a hook which prevents the blade from slipping out of the kerf during work. The pruning saw is used for helping with cutting through the bark and the surface wood on the underside of the branch prior to cutting, preventing splintering and bark stripping when the branch breaks and falls.
